Meet the Author…

and the whole adventure family!

Sarah Lorimer De Santi is a professional photographer and storyteller who has been traveling the world full-time since 2018 with her husband, Massy, and their three children — Cosimo, Emma, and Luca.

From the start of their journey, Sarah committed to documenting their adventures through photography and writing, hoping to inspire other families to embrace life together — whether exploring the world or simply discovering the magic in everyday moments.

The Adventure Globe series grew out of these experiences, blending real-world travel with the wonder she sees daily through her children’s eyes. Her mission is to spark curiosity, courage, and kindness in young readers while opening windows to the many cultures of our planet.

After working on two books together, Sarah, the author, and Sarah, the illustrator, finally met in person in December 2024 in the UK. It was a truly special moment that we shared with her husband and my family.

In November 2024, just before our second book was released, we decided to conduct a photo shoot to celebrate its release. I am fortunate to have the support of my children and husband.

In June 2023, the first Adventure Globe came out. Since I decided to self-publish, I encountered a learning curve and experienced a delay in the release. So, when the book finally came out, we were actually on a cruise ship!

In November 2024, when our second book came out, our kids were asked to sign copies for a grandmother who loves our books and gifted them to her grandkids. It was exciting for them to sign their copies!
